its a long road when youre on your own and it hurts when they tear your dreams apart and every new town just seems to bring you down trying to find peace of mind can break your heart its a real war right outside your front door i tell ya
I was watching the movie First Blood Part One STARRING SYLVESTER STALLONE about this war hero. He came back from Vietnam as a decorated hero but he lost his friends.He was going to a town to have a meal but the sherrif gave him a hard time.
What strikeS me was the wording of the song which is placed at the top and the words that he said at the end of the movie. I maybe a war hero but now I cant even get a job as a pump attendant.
This lies the question. If we lost our job due to retrenchment are we equip to face the world or do we drown ourselves in sorrow and self pity.
The truth is when help is really needed you find it within yourself.It begins by having a heart and clearness of purpose. WHAT DO YOU LIVE FOR?
